Here is a photo of Claude.

At least it seems that it was quick...

The Post Mortem revealed that it was a heart attack due to excessive fluid around the lungs (as I remember the description, if I get a better one I will update this post). His diabetes also apparently contributed.

And the Medical description is:
Pulmonary oedema with a congestive cardiac failure, with a contributing factor from Diabetes mellitus.

Funeral

will be held on 14:30 (2.30PM) on August 10th at Altringham crematorium

The Family (via the Funeral Director) is organising a collection for charity (likely to be split between a Heart Disease Research charity and a Diabetes charity), you can either donate on the day, or send to the Funeral Directors.
If you wish to send flowers, these need to go to the Funeral Directors.

The Family has decided to go with a non-secular (non-religious) service, you can read about them here. During the Service there will be a period where, those that wish to do so, may offer prayers.

Claude has died

Claude died yesterday. Andrew found him in bed during the afternoon after returning froma bicycle ride.
